Bridge Adult services
My experience at Bridge Counselling has been very positive. It has helped me to move on with my life. Bridge Adult Service delivers around 100 counselling sessions per week. Most of our counselling is one to one though we also deliver couples counselling. We offer daytime sessions Monday to Friday as well as evening sessions Monday-Thursday. Bridge is a BACP Accredited service and all of our counsellors hold a professional counselling qualification. What you can expect from counselling Issues that people access our service for include:
Counselling can offer you the opportunity to talk over, clarify and express your problems, thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential environment. It is not advice giving but rather we aim to listen to you in a non-judgemental way with a view to helping you gain a better understanding of your difficulties and clarify possible choices and ways of dealing with your problems. Excellent! I am so grateful for all the support and help I received. How to access our service To make an initial appointment the person seeking counselling will need to call us themselves on 01268 822 800. We will arrange an initial appointment at a time that suits you. We do not take referrals from professionals or other concerned parties. This one off appointment gives you the opportunity to tell us your reasons for seeking counselling at this time and what you aim to achieve from counselling. We also help you to explore if counselling is right for you at this time and whether we are the right service for you. If not we will do our best to direct you to another service. If it is agreed to go ahead with counselling you will be placed on our waiting list. We aim to assign a counsellor as soon as possible, though exactly how long this takes, will be dependant upon your availability. We are conveniently located in the Basildon Town Centre making our service easily accessible by public transport. Fees Fees for both the initial appointment and counselling sessions are charged on a sliding scale of up to £45, negotiated between the counsellor and the client themselves, and is based on household income. Please contact the office for more details. |
